During the pandemic, our client Tracy and her partners responded with a new restaurant concept: a ghost kitchen, where 80% of revenue is driven from delivery.

Brand Identity

––––

When we presented the logo concept to Ghostline it was entitled, "Here, and not here". Parts of the letters are intentionally missing, just as Ghostline is intentionally missing from the downtown core. It is illusive and bold while still remaining warm and inviting.

The supporting graphics for the brand push boundaries in a similar way, playing with lines and depth to create intrigue and illusion.

Website Design+Build

––––

We mirrored Ghostline’s spirited audacity a bold digital experience designed to compete with established players on the Washington, DC, food delivery scene. Beyond processing orders, the Ghostline website needed to excite visitors by educating them about the company’s delivery concept. Vibrant typography, colors, and animations set the scene, enticing hungry visitors to “Learn More” and “Order Now.”

Print Meets Digital

––––

Our next move was to collapse digital and IRL worlds by placing custom QR codes on the delivery bags. With printed menus on the outs (dare we say!), QR codes are the quickest way to access a menu — and of course we made the code beautiful. Also, by snapping a picture of the code, customers can instantly access the Ghostline 3D hologram food app to view their food and other menu items 360° placed live within their own space, ensuring maximum sharing potential and planting ideas for their next order.
